Background
Caillain was the son of a farmer. One night, his home was attacked by a werecat, who injured Caillain, and before he was able to kill him, Caillain's mother attacked the creature with a silver candlestick. Caillain woke the next day to a house filled with the dead. He was the sole survivor. When he reported what had happened, the villagers tried to burn him at the stake. He escaped and fled for his life, until he was discovered by a pack of werewolves. He was brought to a farm outside a small village on the border between Aundair and Breland. He was released from the magics that was holding him prisoner by the party. Sheran gave Caillain a key to the hidden house and told him to make his way to Sharn.
Personality
Caillain is a timid man, afraid that he will turn into the monster that attacked and murdered his family, though his heart remains pure.
Motivations
To live like a man as long as he can and to never allow himself to become a monster.
