Regional Bonuses

Regional Knowledge – A character receives a +2 regional bonus when using Know (Local), Know (Geography), Know (History), and Know (Nobility & Royalty) when it pertains to the region of that character’s origin. For example, a character from Breland would receive this bonus if he was trying to know something about Breland (where to find the best tavern in Sharn or to recognize a veteran of the Brelish military).

Each region has one skill that region is particularly known for. That skill is considered to be a class skill for characters from that region. In addition, characters receive a +2 regional bonus to that region’s skill.

Characters may select one bonus feat from the region’s list. Descriptions of regional feats are detailed in greater depths.

Characters may select one of the two bonus equipment options at 1st level. A character may opt to take neither bonus equipment package and start off with an additional 100 gp.
